The Mountain Rainforest House

Bergwald

Tropical mountain forests are the most species-rich habitats for plants. The high rainfall and frequent fog as well as the moderate temperatures ensure that plants hardly suffer from climatic stress. Many original plants such as mosses, ferns and palm ferns can be found here. Birds frequently occur as pollinators: That is why many plants in mountain rainforests bloom red.
