Digital stories & plants: coding a pocket code game and shooting a film about plants
Would you like to go on an exciting journey of discovery where plants play the leading role and you are the director? Then discover in this workshop how you can create your own games and stories using your cell phone and the Pocket Code app (https://catrob.at/pc).
In just four hours at Zurich Botanical Garden, we will show you how you can program all kinds of things using simple building blocks, almost like LEGO. You don't need any prior knowledge—just curiosity and a desire to learn something new. At the end, you will create a short video of your game that shows your creative journey and the skills you have learned.
Age: 10 – 15 years
Location: Botanical Garden of University Zurich, Zollikerstrasse 137 (Villa Rainhof)
Learning objectives:
